PLAY / LEARN / RUN IT BACK

A football game with friends, straight in your browser.

A football game with friends should get your group onto the pitch quickly. Pepebets runs in your browser and offers private 1v1 and 2v2 matches, a server-run score and a choice of camera views. You can start a casual match as a guest. Each person joins from their own browser and internet connection.

Create your private football lobby

Open Arena Football and choose Private lobby. Pick 1v1 for a head-to-head match or 2v2 for four players. Give your player a nickname, keep Free selected and create the room. Copy the invite link and send it to your friends. This is online multiplayer: players use separate browser sessions, rather than sharing one keyboard. A private room does not appear in the public room list, though anyone with its link can open it.

Join a team and ready up

Your friends can open the invite link or enter the six-character room code on the homepage. In a casual lobby, use Join blue or Join orange to get onto the right side before everyone readies up. A 2v2 match needs two players on each side. Every player confirms ready before kickoff. If a player has not joined, the game waits; it does not quietly replace your friend with a bot.

Learn the controls in the first minute

Move with WASD or the arrow keys. Press Space to shoot and Shift to sprint. In 2v2, E sends a short pass toward a teammate when the ball is close enough. Sprint uses a limited energy meter, so save some for defending. First to three goals wins. If two minutes expire first, the higher score wins; level scores produce a draw. Cosmetic kits and country flags do not change movement or shooting.

Choose a view that feels comfortable

Broadcast view shows the small stadium from an angle. Overhead keeps the pitch easier to read from above. Graphics offers Auto, Balanced, Low and 2D. Try Low or 2D if your device struggles. Start with a bot warm-up if nobody knows the controls yet. Keep the game tab active, and avoid large downloads while playing. A short disconnect allows a return; a longer absence can forfeit a team.

Keep the group playing

Use the match result to settle the friendly rivalry, then run it back. Wallet sign-in is optional for casual rooms and required for the ranked ladder and cups. Free play does not need a deposit. The Money choice is visible but pending: the current beta accepts no cash stakes or payouts. For your first group session, agree on teams before opening the lobby so the first kickoff is smooth.
